Comment #1 by Benoît MINISINI:

Doh! Please give one precise example at least! IDE uses jit compiler on some places, and I didn't have any problem with it.

Comment #2 by Jussi LAHTINEN:

Try the rubik cube (GBrubik).

1. Open modMotor3D module.
2. Add Fast to get "Fast Public Sub fRotateVector()".
3. Run the project and rotate any row.

Re: [Gambas Bug Tracker] Bug #846: Fast routines raise error: Wanted Float[] got Integer[] instead

Fabien Bodard-4
well not really as the sources have been changed to not use the fast keyword.

But you have justr to add a fast to the header of the two math modules
and you will see the crash

Re: [Gambas Bug Tracker] Bug #846: Fast routines raise error: Wanted Float[] got Integer[] instead

Jussi Lahtinen
The sub fRotateVector() never used fast, because of the bug. You need to
add it yourself.

Comment #3 by Benoît MINISINI:

I think this is related to the fact that the Float array is initialized with an Integer array.
Gambas does the conversion automatically, but the jit compiler may not.

I would guess [CFloat(0), CFloat(0), ... ] or [0.0, 0.0, ... ] would do the
job.

Write the number "0.0", with a decimal point, and it will be interpreted as a floating point constant.
